Danish Startup Tonsser Help Young Talent Discover Opportunities

We don’t have to tell you that football is highly talked about sport. With so many apps, tournaments, fans, merchandise, and so on, it’s no wonder it’s become such a huge phenomenon.

However, back in 2014, there was a huge gap in the market – there were countless apps based on football and services, but, none of them were based on the players themselves. Discovered by Peter Holm and Simon Hjære, they decided to co-found the Tonsser, one of Europe’s leading football performance tracking app in March 2015.

Tonsser provides ambitious and dedicated football players a platform where they are able to discover amazing opportunities. The app tracks performance statistics, from performance-based ratings to goal scoring, and uses this data to provide players with knowledgeable insights on their ability. Players are able to use this data to accelerate their career and integrate into the football community.

Tonsser’s co-founder Simon Hjære said, “we want to democratize football by creating solutions where youth players are more likely to succeed based on their skills, not a coincidence.”

With the app, players can, track their full football performance, connect with other youth players, as well as, clubs and scouts. It is the perfect medium to share their experience and football journeys with others, and with time reach their full potential.

Tonsser aims to empower young rising stars by letting them control their fate. Aspiring players can forget about having to rely on the good recommendation of their coach, and now can be judged on skill alone. The data collected matches players with suitable opportunities and ensures equal treatment throughout the football ecosystem.
